Background of Sahara Hospital LucknowThe hospital is a project of Sahara India Medical Institute Ltd., a subsidiary of Sahara Prime City Ltd., and has been designed by the eminent Mumbai-based architect Hafeez Contractor. It was constructed by Larsen and Toubro. Set up at a cost of INR 400 crores (or USD 61 million), including the cost of medical equipment, Sahara Hospital stands at 80.06 meters and is the tallest building in Lucknow with as many as 19 floors.
Services and SpecialtiesIt has all diagnostic services available round the clock. These include: Radiology, Pathology, Endoscopy, Bronchology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Panchkarma and Pulmonology.
The list is by no means comprehensive and includes many more specialties. It has new-age equipments to tackle all medical problems. As of now, it has 250 beds with a capacity that is expendable to 554 beds in the future. It is the first medical centre in Uttar Pradesh that has successfully performed an elbow transplant and placement of endoscopic cervical plate. You can reach the hospital by air, train or bus. You can land at Lucknow International Airport and hire a pre-paid cab to take you there. You may also alight at Lucknow Charbagh railway station and take a pre-paid cab or a bus to come to the place.
